Decorative Art
the Solids
A collection of work started while in ARS 361 - New Media Special Topics. In this course I used the Alabama Decorative Arts Survey to 3D model and print related art. Since then, this collection has grown as I’ve generated more work.
This collection of the work is made with less natural elements. Objects in this collection feature fine designs or ultra fine textures.

Hexagonal Ashtray
Created in order to combine the work I had done with lace with a theme, the first ashtray I created is a conversation that we have with lace, how it is both infantilized and sexualized. This piece is created to get ash in it, but some would prefer that it sit on the shelf.

Inspired by Wedgwood
A piece I created to mimic the jasper-ware produced by Wedgwood. Our decorative arts class toured the Wedgwood collection at the Birmingham Museum of Art, and by the next day I had already created my addition to the collection.
